(VeniVidiDolli did a much better review and photo comparison, so this is just my two cents)
Ok, so. I finally picked up one o them Fairy Tale High dolls. FOR SCIENCE. ahem… I chose Belle/Beauty. Not because of her beauty, cause come on, look at her, but because there were only two Belles left.
It was pretty obvious that they were taller than MH, and as you can see, they do indeed tower over ma petite cher, the werewolf CAM. She might just look shorter because she lacks big hair, currently.
They have their initials on their chonies. Also… thigh gap. For days.
I threw Tits McGee in there for comparison (A Midnight Magic doll). She immediately asked if Belle was the Chairman of the Itty Bitty Titty Committee. rude. u_u
Belle immediately showed her how her hands and joints (and indeed, the very plastic she was made of) were of way better quality than Tits, and reminded her that she was bought on clearance for $3 -shut that little pink bitch up right quick. (Its true, FTH plastic feels more like MH or Barbie- the Midnight Magic limbs feel almost hollow, and the legs don’t bend, but I don’t think anyone ever disputed their quality. Sorry, McGee)
The feet are close, but no cigar- BUT these shoes (the adorable black booties with studs) DO fit the CAM- just not with socks on. aw.
Also, she may be better quality, but her joints aren’t terribly flexible. She couldn’t even be sassy when CAM stole her clothes! She can, however, stand on her own (with the shoes on).
Plus, Wolfy doesn’t even look that great in her clothes- which, admittedly, are a pretty decent quality. With a little bit of tweaking, the individual pieces can be put to good use on the MH dolls.
I didn’t take Belles hair out, but she has a nice, thick braid with a lovely yellow rose accent.
Overall, I’d say she was worth the $10 that I paid for her- and if it wasn’t for the same face and limited arm movement (and some of their tragic outfits), they miiiight be worth the $17. Maybe. As it is, I’m glad my Walmart had no room for them, cause this means I can get another with limited guilt. u_u
