Venus Has Flower Power by calicokatt
Thought I’d try my hand at another Monster High character. I was having a really off day with drawing and everything I was drawing looked…terrible. So, sometimes when I have off drawing days I draw fanart hoping it might break me out of it. So, I drew this drawing of Venus McFlytrap! She’s one of my favourites. I love her design! This is a particularly STUPID pose. I wasn’t even sure if I wanted to finish it but in the end I did because I liked how her face came out so I thought it might look better if I coloured it. Anyway. The scan of this is terrible because all of my artwork scans are terrible. Very dull. The colours scanned in very wrong. I wish the pink in her hair came out much darker. I’ll have to draw her again with a much better pose. I still have no idea what she’s doing lol! And I only realized AFTER I finished this drawing, her head came out too small (but I liked her face too much ARGH.) Anyway. Posted over at my DeviantART account if you are interested :)
