This took far longer than it should have.
Jane Hook, though born of the Ever After High Universe, was never drawn in the style. I prefer my own, however, a challenge is always fun, so I conceived the rather stupid idea of drawing her as close to the original style as I could.Well, we learned we’re not terribly good at anything other than our own style. She seems to have retained a lot of my hypercolour and cel shading. I had to try and reign in a lot of colouring habits XD
It was fun though.
The pattern on her jacket is, unfortunately, from an unknown source, it was uncredited in my stock folder. She won’t retain it (or her spangly skirt) for anything except this image, because the EAH characters seem to ALL have every single possible inch of fabric covered in some kind of netting, pattern or sparkles. I prefer her more humble block colours.
