Listen, no age is ‘stupid’ for buying dolls. If you like the dolls, then get them! You can do customizations too, and there are so many resources for help doing so. That’s why I made this blog! You can also always write me on here, and ask me any questions you may have. If I can’t find an answer for you, then I’ll try to find someone who can.
I firmly believe that you are never too old for toys, or anything else that makes you happy. I’m 26, my husband is 30, and we both collect toys of all kinds. (We know people in their 40’s+ who collect toys too!) Some of our family members just don’t understand our hobbies, but they know it makes us happy, and in the end that’s what matters most. You being happy in whatever hobby or lifestyle you choose.
If you are interested in looking at other types of dolls before you buy them, maybe try and find a Doll Meetup in your city. That way you can meet new friends who love dolls too, and they could give you advice and suggestions on what types of dolls are available. You may fall in love with a type of doll you’ve never even seen before.
I’d suggest, if it’s in your budget, to go out and buy one of the dolls you were interested in. Take it home, open it, play with it, really interact with whatever doll you choose. If it makes you happy to do so, and you could see yourself buying more dolls in the future, then I’d say go for it! You are never too old to have fun. (っ˘з(˘⌣˘ )
