So, I went out with some of friends and I made them take me to Toys R Us to look at Monster High dolls. I beeline my way towards them, immediately looking for a Ghoulia of any sorts and this man approaches my friends and I. He begins to talk to us, his opening lines something along the lines of, “Have I seen you before?” My first thought was he was trying to hit on us but the more we began chatting, he points out certain dolls and where it would be better to find them cheaper. (i.e. Target). He then talks about the Skull Shores and Dance Class packs, listing off whose inside. He was super nice and was really glad that “We didn’t shrink back in horror when he talked to us, because most people do, especially parents.” Made me feel kinda bad because he obviously was a Collector and must get judged for buying the dolls. It sucks begin on the older end and buying a Monster High doll.
I get that… its like people shrinking back in horror (when I’m just trying to tell them where they are cheaper), or I make a bff bonding over their adorableness.
