A mom and little girl were in the MH aisle, and the little girl is marveling at all the new stuff. She looks up at the top shelf and tells mom “See? Thats the CAM lab, you use water to put stickers on them, its cool"
Mom seems unimpressed. I casually mention that “they have the new one at Target". The little girl smiles and they shuffle off.
At Target 20 minutes later, I’m debating over getting PD Abbey just cause there are a hundred of them there, when the little girl and her mom walk up.
"This one, (she says) you use the tools to make designs on them!" She says, pointing at the new CAM lab.
The mom is still skeptical. “But then it will be like that Barbie that got pink and orange gunk all over your other Barbies! I don’t want paint everywhere"
The little girls smile droops.
"You know", I pipe up. “it isn’t paint- its water. They change color with hot or cold water… it won’t ruin anything" :)
"Hmmmm, well, I don’t know what it was but it ruined the Barbies. Come on, we’ll find you something else."
Little girl: But… But..
Me: but, but…
Mom: Nope.
The little girl turned and gave me a half smile as they walked away.
