I wasn’t totally shame-free this weekend. Family was in town and I wanted to hide when my mom tsk tsk’d my collection and asked (for the umpteenth time), WHEN I WAS GOING TO GROW UP -But she also was amazed at my rerooting projects and more than happy to lend needles and give advice (even offering up old Barbie patterns) for sewing doll clothes.
