Adventures in Clearance Sales part 12:
So, today I found out that if I miss a SINGLE bus on the way home from the nearest TRU, I get home TWO HOURS later than anticipated. Garumph.
However, I found a good deal of stuff on clearance so I won’t dwell TOO much :P
At TRU, I found the Mystixx Vampire that I did want- with the black & blue wigs. I can now put together my mummy :D. I also found the Monster High mouse my kid has wanted forever FOR $5!! (I didn’t want to order from Mattel unless I was getting a few things- which never happened. Glad I waited.)
I also found that Bratz doll- for a buck. A DOLLAR. Shit like thing makes me want to fill up a cart with clearance stuff and drag it over to the price checker, cause damn.
ok, so moving along, I stopped in the Justice there and found the Novi Stars on Clearance also- only $10. Since they didn’t have Mae (the only one I need but I’m not terribly worried about it) I checked out the Secret Pet pods- they said half off of $9.99, but came out to $6.50 for both. (Our Easter baskets will be space-themed this year, with these being the eggs). woot.
Finally, I stopped at Target, and while there wasn’t anything new in the way of Monster High, they did have the app figures (whose faces are surprisingly well painted considering how tiny they are) for $5 each! Which is rad cause I’ve only seen them at Justice and Barnes & Noble for $16 a piece. So, yay.
Next time I will be sure not to linger and to haul ass when running for the bus :P
