We looked at a house further up from the neighborhood in SD than we were thinking of moving to. There is a Target, Kohl’s and Walmart within (possible) walking distance, and I think a bus that goes to the “nice” TRU (which looks busier and full of soccer moms, but still, not bad).
Back in the neighborhood we’ll probably end up in, there is a Target (which tends to have very few dolls) and a Kohls (which had the new Dead Tireds and Roller Maze ones, and a few Day at the Maul Frankie’s and Dracs FOR THIRTY DOLLAS EACH!). At least I know there is stuff there. But the TRU in the “crappy” area ALWAYS seems to have
1. New Stuff.
2. Ample amounts of it.
It’s hard to walk to, and if you walk a few blocks past there are strip clubs and unsavory areas, but I think I’ll be cool once I figure out the truck day and a way to get down here after dropping kiddo off at school (and the schools here are apparently top rated- not MH related, I’m just glad of that!!). I should be able to be a procurer of news and rares for y’all (and us!).
Now if we would just get accepted for that one awesome house so I could have a craft room!!!
